George Washington sets the record straight

In New York's Mt. Vernon lies a treasure of historical significance, St. Paul's Church National Historic Site. Today, President's Day, an audience had the pleasure of experiencing a phenomenal reenactor superbly channeling George Washington for a talk on his experience at Valley Forge. Living historian Michael Grillo separated fact from legend in a compelling presentation.

This event kicked off celebrations of America's 250th birthday that will be ongoing at the site.
