Go out and vote tomorrow, but be gracious as you encounter other voters in the polling place

Tomorrow is election day in the United States. If you are registered to vote you can do so tomorrow, unless you participated in early voting. Voting is a right and a privilege. Everyone has the right to vote for the candidates they wish to. Sometimes voters assume that other voters in their neighborhood vote the same way that they do. This is not always true!  In fact it can lead to misunderstanding and hard feelings.

With that in mind, I encourage you to reread, or read for the first time, my fictitious story about being considerate when voting. It is called Don’t Assume Your Politics are my Politics: A Lesson in Manners.
